Car Tail Lights

The Car Tail Light is a special kind of lamp that is usually mounted at the rear side of the car. It works as an indicator and indicates the other drivers about brake, left or right turn. It is basically a group of lights that comprises of Rear Lights Brake Lights, Indicator Lights and Reversing Lights, all which are used for different functionality. The composition of rear lights are given below:

INDICATORS:

In rear lights, we have different colors and for indicator we have the yellow color.These indicators are used to indicate whether the driver is turning left or right. These same indicating bulbs are also used as an emergency indication if the driver applies sudden brakes.

REVERSE LIGHTS:

Reverse lights are also a part of back light assembly because it comes with the set. These reverse lights illuminate automatically and turns on when drives shift his car into reverse gear. They also have high luminosity and brightness then the other rear components but they are comparatively dull to the front headlight.

BRAKE LIGHTS:

Another part of rear lights are Stop Lamps which are also known as brakes. Red Braking lights only turn on when the driver of the car apply brakes. It is usually located at the both edges of the car and it glows with a luminosity of 65 to 300 candelas. It also acts as a signal for other drivers at night.

The full form of OEM is Original Equipment Manufacturer. These Car Tail Lights are company fitted and are fixed at the rear end of your car. These could either be colored matched with your car or could be stock. Therefore, color doesn't affect the working of back lights but it gives some look. AFTERMARKET TAIL LIGHTS:

Aftermarket are those type of back lights which are sold after the making of a car. These aftermarket are also called as Euro Lights. It is a substitute for OEM. It provide customized and sporty look to the car. Aftermarket back lights are well made and give graceful look to the car. Although these lights are cheaper as compared to the fashionable LED lights, but they still provide a class look with cost-effectiveness.

LED TAIL LIGHTS:

LED means "Light Emitting Diodes" and is nowadays replacing the stock lights. Actually LED are not only used as back light but they are also used as day time running illumine. These LEDs are very costly and are only used by high end cars like Lamborghini Murcielago, Austin Martin DB-9, Mazda RX-7 and others, because they offer them a package of Ray Headlights. The main advantage of LED is their illumination speed when compared to other tail lights. LEDs are very expensive but they give a sporty look to the car. These are available in all colors; consume less power and turns on instantaneously.

Nowadays, the car buyer uses back light to modify their car and there is a very fast growing trend to upgrade car with fashionable rear lights. But before buying these, it's advisable that one should do thorough research on the type of these lights available in the market.
