Head Light Installation Guide
Please be sure to refer to the installation instructions provided by the manufacturer. This guide is only provided to give you an idea of what is required to install head lights onto your car.
Depending on your car, you may need to remove the front bumper to give you enough space to remove and install your new head lights.
Take a look at your head light and you'll see a thin metal band that is around the outside of the head light. Normally this is what holds it in place. You will now need to remove the screws (normally 2 or 4) that hold the metal band down. The screws are small and short so you may want to use a magnetic screwdriver to make the job easier. Make sure that you do not confuse these screws for the horizontal and vertical head light adjustment screws which are larger and longer. Once removed, set the screws aside so you won't lose them.
Now gently wiggle the head light assembly and remove the metal back. Your head light should hang loosely. Pull back the rubber covering and unplug the head light from the back.
Put the new head light in place and plug it in and put the rubber cover back over the connection. Be careful not to disturb the settings of the adjusting screws. Put the thin metal band back on and screw it back in using the screws you removed earlier until the headlight is secure.
Turn on your head lights to test the new light. If it doesn't come on, you might have a problem with the wiring, not the light.
